Hog Island Oyster Company Selects Fermob for Flexible Outdoor Seating
Hog Island Oyster Company opened its oyster bar in 2003. Featuring oysters from their own oyster farm, the restaurant saw much success and expanded into a new space. The new space has a larger outdoor seating area that accommodates 100 people.
The patio previously had heavy cypress picnic tables and low cost patio chairs that were falling apart. Hog Island Oyster Company sought flexible seating could easily be moved around yet still enhanced the restaurant design.
They discovered Fermob’s Luxembourg aluminum chair line and noticed they were “well-built yet still lightweight, stackable and comfortable. With a choice of 24 colors, we could brand our seating with both gray and orange chairs.”
The Luxembourg line of chairs has stayed the test of time at the restaurant – holding up to busy periods that include hourly table turns.
